Does anyone use Pro Mix HP?

I've struggled with low ph issues in Ocean Forest soil and plan to switch next indoor grow.

My plan is to use Pro Mix HP as suggested by Advanced Nutrients reps since I use their products. If anyone is using Pro Mix HP and Advanced Nutrients Ph Perfect base nutes in this medium...please holler back!

I'm looking for a grow medium I can control and try to eliminate at least some of the ph issues I'm seeing now.

I've been using Pro Mix mixed with compost and organic nutes with good success for a couple years. I add some pulverized lime to help stabilize ph, no cal/mag needed when you add lime.

This has been working well for me.

Pots and soil: 3 gallon grow bags filled with Pro-Mix HP with 1tbs/gal ESPOMA garden lime added in

I use Advanced Nutrients PH perfect lineup including added Cal-mag. I find I need the Cal-mag when using R/O water.
I don't even PH my nutrient solution just mix and water in and so far no PH issues. I am 38 days into the current grow,but did 2 other Auto grows the same way and had no issues.

Good information! I have 1.25 bags of OF left over, so I am adding lime into the soil for use in my current outdoor grows. Its a bit more tedious to get runoff water to test outdoors, so I'm hedging the ph problems with OF by adding in some lime plus top dressing the soil with lime so rain water slowly waters it in.

On my single plant indoor grow with AN ph perfect and OF soil, I add in Cal-Mag with each watering and feeding. I waited until week 4 to feed her with AN since OF is so hot, but used Cal-Mag all along. Despite battling ph issues with the OF soil, she looks pretty good so far.
