Do I need to Ph water when growing organic?

Outdoors there is no need to bother about ph.

Indoors (soil) you must only make sure that you are in the range 5.5 to 7.5. your plants will have no problem if you stay within that range. They will balance and adapt quickly with no effect on production.

You have to be careful of too much alcaline tap water. My area's water, once chlorine evaporates, goes to 8.5-9. that is not good for our plants. Tap water is an excellent choice for minerals and can help prevent deficiencies. But a sky high ph must be controlled. Also what you use to lower it matters. I personally use vinegar or citric acid crystals because they are friendly with the roots, do not add unnecessary nutrients and they are cheap and easy to purchace. But you have to experiment until you find the right dosage, because it is easy to have a very acidic result. Have some extra water handy to add when this happens

Indoors depends on your soil .... Myself, I don’t PH or do PPM but I know my rain water is about 6.75 and pretty clean, that is evidenced by my car as after rains, looks like it went thru car wash .....

But your soil has a ton to do with it .... If growing in Fox Farms I would PH Water but in the LOS I’m using with charcoal and lava rocks mixed in, no worries about PH, even if using tap water but with tap, the chlorine will kill ya, better make sure it’s chlorine free.

ummm if youre using r/o water and you have well amended soil, the water will pretty much assume the ph of your soil mix.. 500ppm tap water at 9 ph not so much possibly..ive used 400 ppm tap at 8.5 (filtered) in the past with no problem.. so yes, no, and maybe so. clear?
