I'm totally new to these bags.
I've been burping jars for years.

I'm interested because I'm going to be leaving for 6 weeks.

I will have a 3 week window from harvest until I leave and I'm considering letting them finish in these bags while I'm away.

Tips and suggestions?
Which moisture meter to buy?

Not necessary. Just get your buds down to around 60%rh and then straight into the bags. I don't have a moisture meter just cheap digital hydrometers. I dry until I think I'm ready and put some buds in a jar with a meter, if they're 62% or less they can go straight into the grove bags and left in the dark indefinitely. If they're below 58% put a boveda in the grove bag with it. Make sure you don't pack the bags too full, they need air inside to do their thing

I used grove bags this past round and bagged in April after a 10 day cure and a 2 day sweat at 60deg and 60%. I did use a moisture meter because why the hell not? A excuse to spend 28$ on a new toy. Nonetheless they were reading 10.1% and into the bags they went. I cracked a bag open a few days ago that haven’t been open since bagged. Was reading 61% humidity and they still had a internal moisture of 9.9%.
