True, but unfortunately cannot get it in the part of the world I am in right now. I went with a silicone under door weather seal (based on the recommendations here) and it seems to be working for the most part. There is still a bit of light leaking through the silicone material, but I am hoping some black tape or paint should be able to take care of it.

Weatherseal can be a bitch. Use a thicker one

I really want to build one of these to keep a mother. I've been looking for cheap stuff and bulk garbage. I'm sure I'll find something on the cheap soon.

If there is a good used furniture market where you live like Craigslist, that would the easiest and cheapest way to get started. Unfortunately, I am in a part of the world right now where I don't have that luxury, so had to custom build mine. If you can get your hands dirty a bit, it's fairly simple to make the necessary holes, etc and then put up hanger rods that are rated to hold a lot of weight. Just ensure that the cabinet doesn't topple over (at 6 or 7 feet height, you will likely need to anchor to a back wall to ensure complete safety). The cheapo mylar emergency blankets make a great reflective surface (I am getting 900+ PAR readings at 65% driver capacity at about 18 inches height). You can then make use of weather seals, etc to create stealth and keep improving as you go.

Predictability, all year growing ability and pest management of Indoor growing are what won me over. My current grow started outdoors as I was getting this setup and then moved indoors during flowering (a bit too late for this lady, but the buds are looking juicier by the day :D)

Just modify a cheap shelving unit. Hang some led tube lights from a few rows of the shelves and you can have mother's on one, clones on another, and early veg seedlings on another

I'm trying to do it on the cheap and dirty. I've been big into it for a few months when I found

sorry, don't really understand what these folks are doing that is different than others - they are just selling you Ikea furniture, lights and fans. You still have to take care of everything else (odor sealing, light leakage, etc). How is this any different than buying (or free) furniture off of Craigslist or Ikea directly and lights and fans from any other (better) provider. Are they even listing the specs for the lights (ppfd, etc?)

You will likely be able to get the whole thing setup for way cheaper with better specs if you choose your suppliers wisely. For example, these guys are selling you a 15W (draw) panel for $36!. You can get a 240W QB288 panel from Alibaba for around $120. Every bit of information you need is available in this wonderful forum. I started with almost zero knowledge just a few months ago :)
