The name has done its job everyone is talking about it. There has been some peculiar names for pot over the years there always will be.

Then again if something bothers me with the marketing of a product, I'll just buy something else that appeals to my personal tastes.

That sums up my feelings. On the other hand, this does bother me, and I certainly won't buy it. Or anything else from the same company. They have the right to be tasteless, but they certainly don't get my automatic support for it.

Do companies pay to get invited to AFN? I really don't know.

It just seems odd that their advertising with nudity is against the rules of AFN, but here they are.

I agree, I am with you. At least sour crack is a bit ambiguous and was named after the parents strains.

Crystal meth? How am I supposed to relate to that.
Certainly the photo shows some frosty buds, I don't get the connection with Crystal Meth, but I have never tried it.

Are the Fastbuds breeders telling us they are Meth Heads and one time they spilled Meth crystals on bag weed?

Or is Fastbud telling us that the American Consumer is so numb from over exposure to advertising that ya gotta hit them with a cattle prod. I suppose if you are browsing a seedbank all the buds start to look the same.

I guess I am wondering why there are here. AFN is a pretty nice place. Based one their advertising Fastbuds doesn't seem to fit.

I am glad they have their own forum. I don't want to see Crystal Meth splashed all over the new grower forum.

Hubba - I'm a pretty relaxed person, but you seem "out to get" fastbuds.

I've read your points and yes - sex sells. It's a well known marketing ploy that works.

I imagine most people would tear my arm of for some Mephisto Sour Bubblin Crack ..... it makes no sense.

Edit: I just read one of your last posts and am closing this thread - There is NO Difference between a weed with the obvious drug name "Crack" and a weed with the obvious drug name "Meth"

If you don't like the name - don't buy the beans. But we need to draw a line under this strain name bashing - it's just silly.

If we all get out our pitchforks for this kind of thing - there'll be no breeders left to show off!!
