heh, you sir are biased i think. of course you like dirt, you ARE dirt. lol
that kinda sounds like an insult. no offense intended

No...I take that a compliment sir...thank you.

Dirt is only dirt until you amend and make it a great soil...I'm growing larger auto's in 6.8l pots just add water with very few problems...nothing beats organic trees.

Amended a small slice of our solid clay lawn for wifey's veggies...turning out better than I thought it would.

200 plus gallons of living just add water goodness....I love my organic cannabis.
Next time you mix up a fresh batch, throw some of this in the mix. I've used this on my lawn at my new home. The lawn was in terrible shape. It's an important part of my organic program. For use in a bud grow, I mixed 5 cups per 1.5 cu/ft for a test. You can always top dress on a current grow.
When you wet it, it breaks down with in a few minutes to microscopic particles. It's 50/50 mix of micronized humic acid and biochar.
Fully organic!!!!
Yeah, it's expensive, but it's worth it, especially with a living soil grow.

The link doesn't seem to work..
but I am very aware of the benefits of using biochar..
I have recently found a source here in ontario and will be incorporating it into my new mix.
I will also add biochar when re-amending my current mix.

I usually run 40-50 autos at a time,
So my goal is to have 400 gallons on hand at all times.

you must live on a farm? 40-50 would take me a lifetime to smoke through. would be damn fun having all the bud.

I think this forum handles links to Amazon funky or you being in Canada. Biochar is quite interesting. The micronized form that The Andersons makes, changes the application and effectiveness of biochar. Being micronized, there is a huge increased surface area exposed to the grow media. and all your microorganisms.

With the source of your biochar, try to make it as small as you can make it or get it. When I started using it many many years ago in my regular garden, I had a friend that owned a feed mill to grind mine. Since I made compost with a dump truck and a tractor, I always added it when making a pile. It charges the biochar to prevent any nute draw if applied directly and tilled into the soil. It can be applied top dressed without much worried.

No...Im in the city, I grow indoors for the most part...I like to breed, so larger the plant numbers equals better selections, equals better outcomes.

I'm almost finished a new build out..just gotta do some ventilation work and wait for my lightrail 5.0.

Wifeys spare bedroom has become my new flower room..old flower room is the new veg/mother/clone room....my shed is now her she shed...fair trade if you ask me,
Gives me a reason to build myself a garage..lol

I cant fit the whole room in the pic..
But its still a work in progess.
They were moved into this room less than 48hrs ago..the girls seem happy happy.

I can get it raw or pre-charged..

I've been making my own organic/tlo mixes forever..
But I have been really considering trying out clackamascoots no-till recipe..it interests me greatly.

Nice. It's a hard commodity to come by locally for me, hence the use of my mentioned product...............easy as hell too.
Just read about that recipe. Pretty much what I've done all my life in my regular garden. In indoor cannabis grows, my thinking it would thrive best in larger 15 gal plus pots. His recipe reminds me of the funny looks I got from a couple of my neighbors in Hawaii when I was building a garden spot in the back yard when adding in lava rock.
