Dinafem Dinamex Auto -- California Roots

You got some too huh? Cool. I can't wait to try it :Sharing One:

Well, I made a very silly mistake early on in the life of this lovely beast. My original plans were to pollinate a Dinamex Auto female with pollen from a reversed female. The two seedlings that died at the beginning of this grow were going to be the ones that would be pollinated. After those died I decided I would just take the female I was going to reverse and that had been started 3 weeks earlier and grow her out in order to get some bud. Problem was, I had already sprayed her twice with colloidal silver. I didn't think it would have an effect so I went ahead and transplanted and grew her out. Well, it came back to bite me in the butt this week. Male flowers have started popping up all over her and I'm gutted :slaps:

I haven't decided yet if I'm going to cut her down or take her to harvest. She has lots of resin so I'm wondering if I could make oil or something or maybe put the herb in the vape.

But folks, there is a big bright silver lining in this. I had forgotten that I had sprayed this girl in the beginning and sent an email to Dinafem asking if it was at all possible that I could get some replacement seeds since my last try had hermied and I was so eager to try this strain. After realizing that it was my own mistake that caused the girl to hermie I wrote back saying that this was my fault and that I didn't expect compensation. Well, just a few hours ago I received an email back from Dinafem:
Sorry to hear you messed up. It is frustrating after all the time and energy you spent. If you are contacting us from Europe, please send us your full address and we will send you a few Dinamex auto for you to try again.

Kind regards
That's right, Dinafem is awesome enough that they are going to send me some more beans "pher Wiggle" I can't express how grateful I am to them. I will forever sing their praises :AFN Site News:

Noods, thanks for checking out the thread brother  and thanks for like bomb and rep :d5: She is a big girl and she grew herself more or less. I just put some love into the soil and let her go. And yeah, that is super cool of Dinafem for doing that, I was so happy when they said they would hook me up.

Onward and upward my friend. Got some nice beans to try that I should be starting soon and I'm looking forward to those. Sour Dragon, Sour D Mango, a Stone/Kush cross that sounds really interesting. I'm gonna go with smaller pots do I can do a few stains at a time. So many that I wanna try you know. :peace:

What was the decision officcinalis? 13 days since that post and I hope I am not too late. Don't chop her/him/shim, save some pollen for future use! I have a box of 10ml glass vials that I keep my pollen in, I typically drop in a couple of desiccant beads to pull any moisture out and the pollen will be viable if kept in the freezer for at least a year and in most cases much longer albeit a little less viable.

Beautiful plant regardless.

Thank you brother, and thanks for the like bomb lol.... Decisions, decisions....well, I just couldn't bring myself to chop her down. I had no other girls that were at risk of getting pollinated so I decided to let her go. It was a good decision too because it didn't turn out at all as bad as I thought it was going to. She basically stopped throwing out male flowers. She developed a few in various spots that had put the scare in me and then that was pretty much it. She, slowly, started to pack on weight. Not the fattest buds you've ever seen, but that could be strain dependent.

So, yeah, I think was going to keep her either way and do as you suggested as well as JM, and keep the pollen, but not too much pollen to be found. Now, I have to search for those few male flowers that there are.

I'll post some pics soon and I'll try as best I can to get a more exact recipe for my mix as well.

:Sharing One: :peace:

Had to hit ya with the like bomb.

Sorry to hear about her going all RuPaul on ya.
Glad to see you didn't chop him/her/it.

I'd pull the balls off and finish her up.

A slap:slap: for such a beautiful organic monster!
