You will be fine it isn't hard to do but It is to grow a nice one takes patients and diligence.

The hardest part is gonna be keeping the medium irrigated. My 3 gallon pots dry out 2 times a day and I'm feeding 1 gallon at a time.

I got a bunch of photos in solo cups of coco right now as I wait for them to sex, and they need water every day now, but I check twice a day will need it 2x soon. I know coco can be a bitch if it is allowed to dry out. My gal in the bubbler I top up a little each time I water the others. As soon as the roots fill the cup it's gonna be a handful.

Agreed. I'm still on the fence with coco or rockwool. Most likely coco for me. Also training is a big mystery. Top,fim,LST HST ECT. I always do some training so I will have to see what the plant gives me. Also flower time. How much veg time do I have before flower. I have a feeling the smaller container will make the plant flower very soon.

I haven't even thought that out yet :crying:

i will be hand watering i know it will be a bit of a ballache but i think i will still do well

Everything lately is a ballache but I have less plants now (unless I get a bunch of females out of my solos). I've been giving a lot of extras to a friend but his greenhouse is full now. I already got one going outside today, think my other half will notice if the back deck is full?

I would love to try a solo cup challenge, but the watering would be a big issue. I am still trying to figure out how to "tweak" my autopot system so I can put a lone solo cup in it...hmmmmmm....
:eyebrows:

I've seen people do the net pots in solo cup challenges on other sites in the past and most solo cup challenges now outlaw it. Usually it's any medium that's contained in the cup with the roots no air stones or anything. Some even don't let ya use a drip irrigation or wick system.

This is pretty much open to all grow styles as long as the roots do not leave that Solo Cup your good to grow :pass:

Yes, it is a competition but, also some community fun :bong:

All the best :bong:

Mark..

I'm anxiously checking my mailbox, but I know another Canuck is still waiting so fingers crossed for this week. I think sometimes the Canada Post is still delivered by horse and cart :crying:

Seeds landed --- so excited did we decide to wait till August or can we start now also think I'm going to do a separate journal that will have one of the left overs but will also include the solo thanks again @Dinafem-Mark for the opportunity to grow with everyone
