Lighting Dimming HLG 135W QUANTUM BOARD

I manage to ask the guy from Niemi about this Before he vanished from the face of the earth. He told me to turn down both parts and equal amount. I haven’t tried

I hear you! But I think I’ll try full blast with 30” inches distance first, and see how that plays out. Thanks!

I did the 30 inch thing from the sprout stage and had to raise the light a little bit once the stretch was finished because I was doing a single fast buds fast berry plant and it got to like almost 30 inches tall. It is almost done and right now it’s probably only about 15 inches above the tops, so the dying yellowing processIs going a little quicker on the top fan leaves than the lowers

Ok, I see! Thanks for the input:joy:

Hey @Sweedling , Just stumbled across your post.

Take a look in my signature for my recent grow. I've been playing with reducing the wattage for the early stages and then turning it up towards flowering. In the past I've stuck with keeping it max power and using the light height to adjust but I'm limited with a shorter tent.

I started with 60w at about 24" and things have gone pretty well for me so far. But as people previously mentioned, it's heavily dependent on strain and the environmental conditions.
