Hi folks!
I’m new on this forum, and this is actually my first post here Seems like a nice place with a lot of knowledgeable people!
I’m a beginner and just bought a HLG135RSPEC 135W QUANTUM BOARD KIT V2. I’ve just mounted it and tested it and it seems to work good! But I’m a bit concerned that it would be a bit too intence light for the seedling and grow phase.
So I thouht I could just dim it down a bit.
But now to the question folks
The driver has one adjustment screw for the voltage and one for the amperage. Both of them are set to the max now. But which one do I adjust to dim down the intecety of the light? And also how much should I dim it down for the seedling and grow phase? As you probably understand I’m a complet beginner. My setup is an 2 by 3 by 6 foot closet with extraction ventilation. I’m planing on growing 2 autoflowers in to 5,5 gallon pots
Would appreciate if someone who has expeience on this could help me figure this out
Ps. Sorry for my strange english, it’s not my first language...

Why amps if I may ask, both of them seems to dim it down.
Because running too low of volts will burn out lights faster. They need a certain voltage to run right.

I run mine at 130w from pop till chop starting at 30”. I got 2 in a 2x4 right now, each ones running at 120w.
Thanks for the answer man. Ok so you only adjust the hight....interesting. Do you go 30” a couple of weeks then? What is the shortest distance you have between light and canopy in vedge and flowering?

Anyone else who can elaborate on hight distance from seed to flowering with this particular light source?

There won't be a good answer for this, it's strain dependent. Sativa dominate loves all you can give where indica will stress with too much. You just need to read your plants to tell. You can start at 30“ like above and just see if that's too much.
