Indoor Diesel Ryder, Cobra, AA Grow

They look great JEM! I'll bet the smell will come creepin up on you when you least expect it. With all them pretty flowers, I'm sure they will smell "sweet".
I'm curious- you say your Diesel 1 is smaller and sits at the edge of the light... Don't you rotate the pots, or rearrange them occasionally? Sorry if this is a dumb question and I missed something.

Ahh, the sweet smell of funk! Cant wait. But dont get me wrong, i smell some bit of stink but nothing out of the norm, havent had to use any means to cover it up yet.

Nah, not a dumb question at all. I rotate all of them around but unfortunately this one just doesnt fit in the rotation. Since i put her in this big ass 3 gallon bucket, the only place she can be is where my other 3 gallon pot can squeeze, but that is my AA1 and i dont think i wanna take any light from her. I had her on the other side under the cfl's but it seems they're not sufficient for her. I dont have enough i think. She started growing more when i threw her under the side of the hps. I might try to rig something up better tho.

Hi JEMman-

How's the COBRA coming along? I have one peeping up from soil now. I don't do the damp paper towel method. Always seemed counterintuitive to be handling a new sprout root. So I'm curious about it, or any others' COBRA input....how fast, how tall, how voluptuous it gets....finishing, taste.

Have azalea pots....about 1.5 gallon. Going to tier it with 3/4 gallon perennial pot for tap root growth. Under different set ups, I prefer mo' pots (best bang for the buck) in space with more than adequate t-5's and LED panel.

Hey nance, unfortunately im not completely sure about how the cobra does. I think that i might have grown a couple last grow tho, but i messed them up pretty bad so it was definitely not a fair report on the strain. Those plants barely crawled to the finish line. lol But the one that i have in my mix now could be a cobra, its pretty small because i really messed up on the transplant. I know joe dirt grew a bit of them and he should be able to let ya know how they are.

I put a post in the infirmary on a problem I had when i went away and im almost certain that my bro almost fried them by throwing the heat on 85, and underneath the light it was upwards of 105. smh...man i was pretty mad, but have since calmed down. I flushed my biggest one and fed the others as they were extremely dry and wilting from the excess heat. Minus a couple of pretty ugly leaves, i think they should pull through alright. Growth slowed a nice bit , but i will post a couple of pics within a few days

Nice to have ya around growinup, always good to see a new face around AFN. Yea my diesel is kinda weird from what Ive heard on them... the longer its in there the more it is just smelling really piney. I really dont know if i got a mixed up batch of seeds or what. Cant wait to see how it smokes tho.

I hope it does... my red container girl AA3 took the biggest toll from me being away, looks like all the lower nuggets may just end up popcorn size. But she is looking extra frosty, the furthest developed bud out of the group. I'll try to grab a couple of shots of them tomorrow.

Im sorry for the delay on the pic updates all. I know whoever is following the log is probably like what the...! lol But unfortunately I am in the process of trying to get a new camera as my old one just up and died out on me. Sorry, but hopefully i should be able to get my hands on a new one pretty soon here. Atleast before i harvest any of them.

My AA3 is probably only about a week away as of today. Very very frosty plant she is and i just chopped off some of her lower buds and placed them on top of my hps to get a sampling of her. Nice sweet and tangy smell to her. The rest are atleast 2 and a half back. The DR that i have is starting to get extra frosy as well, but, still no super danky smell. Right now its like a musty type of piney smell that is getting stronger by the day.
