It's 3 weeks old today. Its growth has exploded in the past 2 days. I topped a few sections, 3 total. I am excited to see where it's at in a few more days! Look8ng good for 3 weeks?

I started my Northern Lights at 2 weeks above the soil. As long as you are careful and don't uproot the plant, all is good to go.

I used the bottom wire (6 o'clock) to provide opposing support so when I pulled her toward 12 o'clock, her root system as supported.

Ok thank you for the tip. Definitely did not think of anchoring part of the plant. I plan on getting ties and all that good stuff this weekend.

I bought two pack of those soft ties that are padded with a center wire for strength...but found they are too big, too thick and cumbersome. I then bought a pack of plant ties (Home Depot) that are the same type of material as a bread bag tie...you can see it in the pic above. This works much better for purposes like LST for small plants.

I use pipe cleaner to tie them down get them at the dollar store
