I am headed to CO this upcoming week and would like to increase my seed collection. Anyone have any opinions on the best shops to stop in for seed selection. Auto isn't important, just a good selection. I will be in Colorado Springs but don't mind the trip to Denver and will probably be making it regardless just to check out the flower selection there.

Thanks in advance!

The only 2 seed banks I know of currently in Colorado are Centennial Seeds and 303 Seeds....both have a presence on Attitude if you want to check them out :)

A4,
Glad to see you'll be visiting us in our fine state.
This may be a shocker to you... None of the dispensaries sell autos.
It's all about big yields and money here. Commercial bud.
In Colorado dispensaries and recreational outlets can only sell seed that has been grown instate by a dispensary or rec store.
The only companies that I know are Rare Dankness available at River Rock(highly recommend), 303 availability unknown(good stuff), Centennial Seeds (stay away hermie issues), Reserva Privada Colorado(DNA Genetics good but expensive) available at any Clinic location. As well there are many dispensaries starting to sell their own hybrids(I wouldn't trust it).

If you have any other questions, please feel free to pm me.

Have a great time while you're here.
Enjoy the altitude and some legal cannabis!

Thanks brother! I was looking more for something while I was traveling than me importing myself although I do use the 'tude very regular. Just hoping to pick up some genetics while I was out there and skip the whole customs thing.

Not surprising about the autos Ronin and thanks for the warm welcome brother! I am not a big auto fan myself anyways so that isn't disappointing. So it looks like the same I was afraid of, no one importing seeds for fear of legal ramifications. I can't say I blame them, why ruin a good thing huh? So basically anything bred in CO. Rare Dankness carries some awesome strains I have been wanting so it looks like River Rock it is. Reserva Privada as well, I thought they were Cali, regardless happy to see them there.

Yes, the altitude will probably be miserable as I am a south coastal boy myself but maybe the lightheadedness will lend to the effects. I am out there for two weeks, anything that I MUST see while I am there? Museums, shows, etc? I plan on seeing some dispensaries but I am sure there is more to CO than flowers. Will be flying in to Colorado Springs and heading South an hour for work. Then Probably to Denver on the weekends.

Thanks to both of you for any recommendations, I do appreciate it.

Oh, I know....just thought it would be a good source of lead data...:)

A4, No problem.:Sharing One:
Actually the messed up part is that the dispensaries do order from international seed banks in order to have plants to grow.
Some of the dispensary menus will look like the Attitude freebie offer sometimes. So bad...
The big business here is clones.
Seeds are still in a legal grey area.
Just a heads up, you won't be able to go into dispensaries, they are for medical patients only.
You will be able to shop at recreational shops.
Another Colorado twist is that all the dispensaries own the recreational outlets.
You'll be getting the same product you would get at the med shops, just more expensive.
Sometimes as in the case with River Rock, their rec and med are only separated by a velvet rope. Ha!
I'd definitely check out Garden of the Gods since you'll be in Co Springs.
Great Sand Dunes Nat'l park if your working down south would be one to check out.
Do the Pikes Peak Tramway. 14,000ft peak is humbling. Also in Co Springs.
Red Rock Amphitheater in Morrison (near Denver) is a good one.
I'd recommend scoring some legal cannabis and heading off to some of the millions of acres of National Forest in the mountains.
I'm not too familiar with Co Springs but you might find a "dispensary tour" down there.
There are a shit ton of breweries out here as well.
Check THIS link out. It's the Denver Posts weed paper. The Cannabist.
Good info on all ganja related goings on.
Just be forewarned that lots of folks who visit Colorado end up moving here.

Here is an idea of how many dispensaries there are in the Denver metro area.

I have already considered moving there to set up shop but the prices just aren't right for me to make a move and wholesale grow. Retail seems to be where the money is at but I don't see myself jumping through hoops and regulations to open up shop and have the hassle of dealing with cash every day and worrying about the feds busting down the door at any moment like they did in Cali.

Thanks for the suggestions and the link. Red Rocks and Pike's Peak are a definite. I have dreamed about going to Red Rocks for 20 years and it is a shame it isn't next month because Widespread Panic is playing. Wouldn't that be a show for an old dude like myself. Yeah, I will probably check out some brewery tours as well. Avery and Oskar Blues. Oskar Blues is actually a local brewer from my home town that moved out to CO so I want to stop in and see what he has going on.

Thanks again!

If you're into Durban Poison I can't say enough good things about "Timberline Herbal Clinic's" Durban seed stock. It's a hole in the wall place, but I picked up 5 regular seeds, all turned out to be female and all have been absolutely incredible smoke. Just stellar, really! Even tastier than what they had on hand. I can't speak to any of their other genetics, but they had about 15 different strains available in seed if I'm remembering correctly. Enjoy your time and safe travels!

If you're into beer there are a lot of cool small business breweries out here as well. A lot sight seeing to do, you can literally just drive up I-70 and see some cool stuff, as with any highway that heads into the mountains. Enjoy your time here, it's a fun place! Good nightlife in Downtown Denver if you're into the bar/club scene. The art museum and natural history museum are pretty sweet too, too much to list.

Thanks Gadget! You folks from Colorado have the hospitality thing down. I didn't expect many replies when I posted that. Looks like I will be in good company.
