Hello friends! "AFN smoke out"

I wanted to show you what I got going on in my tent this Fall.
Just 4 little airpots, 3 or 4 liters each. With an Easy Ryder from Joint Doctor in one, Cream Caramel and Sweet Afgani Delicious in two others and a Fast Amnesia from Fast and Furious in another. All these are from Azarius in the Netherlands. Good guys and gals there.

I use my tried and trusted Compo Sana Qualitäts Blumenerde. Wonderful stuff. I just add worm castings and a little more perlite and this stuff is fantastic every time.

The seeds were soaked for about half a day then went right in to the moist soil that was in the 27°-30° pre warmed tent. They all came up within 48 hrs. Nice!

They poked their heads out to the tune of 300w of 6500k cfl light. The first couple of days they were under some clear plastic cups so they were well humidified. I wanted to change to -or add- the GN MS006 when they hit the one week mark, but I'll have to move that up a few days.. work issues. :( Maybe around day 9 or 10, I hope.

All they've had thus far is distilled water, misting, and just wetting of the surface of the soil, letting the roots find the moistness that's already in the soil. Yesterday they had their first real "drink" of 200ml distilled water a piece. I got some tea brewing for tomorrow or the next day. Just Alfalfa and Kelp. I brew it in the tent so it's the same temp and it adds a smidge of moisture to the air in there. I don't know what the humidity is- I just keep misting them every once in a while and they seem happy.

I'll be feeding them teas made from different combinations of Chicken Poop, Seabird Poop, stinky Fish Mix from BioBizz, Worm Castings, Alfalfa, Kelp, Molasses and then there's the Epsom Salt and the Horn, Bone, and Blood Meal, the Piranha and Voodoo Juice from AN, as well as Rhino Skin and then Nirvana, both of them also from AN. This is what has worked very satisfyingly for me in the past, and you know what they say... "Don't f*ck with a working system!", so I'll just carry on.

I love the taste and the mellow, laid back high of the ER..
Here's her at 6 days:

And then there's the suuuuuper sweet Cream Caramel. Such good good smoke:

I grew a Rapid Afghan a while ago and I was blown away by it. The taste was addictive and I hear that the S.A.D. is much better.. It'll be hard for me to keep my fingers off of this girl when she starts getting sticky:

And here they are all together...

and here's a shot of the 1 liter measuring thing that has my tea bubbling in just to show a size comparison with the pots and plants and things...

Hi guys! :Sharing One:

I've been having some troubles with my girls. :( I haven't had the time to take some pics to show you, but tomorrow I have a day off and hope to show you guys what's up and get some good advice.

It started out with my little Fast Amnesia looking like she had a magnesium deficiency. I gave her an Epsom salt foliar with a little bit of fish and it seemed to help. Her pot was heavier than the others and she also had that fat, droopy, over-watered look, that led me to think, "Aha, too wet = no oxygen, etc = lockout". So I let her go very dry before watering again and it looked like the weird yellowing had stopped.
But now, about 10 hrs after they all had their last feeding, ALL four of them look sad and are also displaying yellowing at the base of the leaves, middle of the leaves, edges, tips... Very bummer.

This had me totally stumped because I am doing everything just as I always have and have never experienced this. So after measuring again and making sure it's not the MS006 being too close, I went to the Compo Sana site to see the data sheet for the soil I'm using. But it's gone! They removed it. Cuz they changed their damn recipe! All they tell you now is that there are "...organic nutrients and time-release nutrients.." in there! This sucks.
I'm thinking I'm gonna have to flush them big time, but don't know if that might not make it worse.

I do not want to sound arrogant, but sick plants are new territory for me. I got lucky from my very first plant and have only bettered my system since then. Now this.. Totally sucky. I'll try try try my damnedest to get some pics up tomorrow to show you and hooooopefully get a tip or two from you.

Happy Friday! :peace: "AFN smoke out"
