Deficiency or Lockout? Help needed...

Are you adding cal mag? RO has nothing in it...nothing... minerals need to be compensated for... looks like calcium
/magnesium diff. to me... cal mag? Epsom? I run RO, and immediately see difficiancies of mg if I don't supplement aggressively.... leaf twisting (which I don't see too much of) is usually an indication of calcium deficiency.... again cal mag?

My feeling is pH is not an option, but mandatory. If your feeding zone pH is low, cal and mag can be locked out as well... without those [HASHTAG]#s[/HASHTAG] we're just making educated guesses.

Thanks for chiming in. I’m not ph’ing my water but am using the AN ph perfect line. I too was wondering if they might nitrogen, but my lack of experience made me question if that might be detrimental to the plants development since I’m in flowering. If it is not something to be concerned with I’m thinking I might give some veg nutes when I water later today? If I do, should I just give them veg only nutes or add veg nutes to what I was planning on feeding them? Thanks again for taking the time to respond
It's been my experience in two grows so far that "pH perfect" is not exactly "perfect." The yellowing looks like a Zinc deficiency, possibly caused by lockout. I would definitely check pH were I you.

With more inspection of plant im almost suspect excess nutes. Just looked at what and how much you are feeding. Do you have a ppm meter? How big is pot and plant. Just by looking im guessing no more than 24'' from top of medium. You are feeding enough for a 6ft plant. I would wait and let others like waira chime in. My thoughts would be to ph water and flush.
Excessive nutrient salts will push the pH high, which will lock out Zinc (at a minimum).. Not so sure about the CalMag... I know that RO/DI water needs the minerals, but AN was designed for RO/DI water, and includes those mineral. Not to say it's going to be enough, but for me there is plenty for Veg.

Pots are 3 gallon airpots, plants are 16 in, and two are smaller at 10in (Sour Crack is indeed a smaller strain, but I’m sure the 2 shorter plants are that way from being slightly stunted early on. Mephisto says Sour Crack is typically 16-22 inches tall) unfortunately at the moment I don’t have any kind meter or ph pen. As for the feeding regimen, I’m just following TaNg’s old schedule with AN ph perfect line

Thanks for taking the time to respond. At the moment I don’t have the equipment. After my ph pen bit the bullet I ended up just buying the ph perfect line as I’d seen so many people on here and other forums use it with great success and not bothering with ph anymore. I might just have to pick up another again...

Up your supplements to 2 mills a liter are you feeding every time?
Hey Fairly. I know you’re more than familiar with the schedule as I’ve watched you grow some real monsters in the past when you were using it. I’ve typically fed every time unless I saw anything that really worried me after a feed then I’d give’em straight water for the next feed and possibly the one after if I still didn’t like what I saw... but I think that only happened once. Overall, I’d say that most of my feedings were probably a little more than needed but I did so being stubborn and curious to see where they’d take me! Lol. These Sour Cracks seem a wee bit sensitive and perhaps are lighter feeders than some of the other grows I’ve seen on here with Sour Crack. So far I’m hearing lots of different opinions... I’ve heard too much light, Ca deficiency, over-feeding, ph issues, lack of nitrogen... maybe one more that I might’ve forgotten. I need to water them tonight and I’m hoping to get an answer that someone seems confident in and one that I can get behind and pull the trigger accordingly. Flush? Just feed water and Calmag? Add in some veg nutes? Or up the feed? Yay! Lots of fun!

Could you shoot me a link to that feed schedule? I keep hearing people talk about it, but I cant seem to find it.
