Deficiency or Burn? Pics Included

Hello all,

First time poster... first time grower.

I have an issue with my autoflower (fast bud #2) that is 50 days old. It's well in to flowering but I'm seeing some issues with the leaves on buds.

I am using Plagron light mix in a 11ltr pot, I have made sure the PH of the water/feed is 6.8. I did read that 6.8 is the best level for soil for maximum nute intake.

My tent is 60cmx60cmx120cm, I have a 400w HPS (ballast allows the light to be put to 250w), cool tubed with a 5" RUCK fan pulling air away from the light. Temps are anything from 74f - 82f when the light is on, temps get down to about 68f when the light is off.

I started the first week with water only, then added 1/2ml of grow per ltr; every other watering. I gradually moved it up till I reached 2ml/ltr and at week 4ish, flowers started to appear. Since I am limited for room I started the bloom to slow down the vertical grow and things were going very well. At week 4 I added 1.5 teaspoons of epsom salts to 2ltrs which included the nutes.

In the last couple weeks I have added half teaspoon of blackstrap molasses (Meridian Organic) per ltr and I'm seeing the buds fatten up, frosting appearing nicely but some issues have started.

All the big fans leaves have yellowed and fallen off, the older leaves on the plant seem to be yellowing a little, some with a purple/red colour (it's a purple colour in natural light) which I don't think is right. The lower growth on the branches is still very green, quite dark but not overly, not a purple dark either which I would of assumed would be too much (N).

Anyway, pictures are about to be uploaded... There's no bugs in the tent, I checked. Also checked under the leaves...

Any help would be appreciated.

Anyone please correct me if i am wrong but it looks like a big nitrogen def if u ask me :)

Thanks for the reply milk,

I would of thought 2ml/ltr of grow would be enough? I'm still feeding it 2ml/ltr each feed.

I know Agito is knowledgeable with Biobizz, perhaps 2ml/ltr of their grow isn't enough?

The pictures were taken with the HPS light on so it is making things look a little more yellow, I can't take any till tomorrow with the light off and in natural light.

Yea Agito is knowledgeable in the biobizz area , he was giving me a telling off for not using enough .. And im on week5 , Looking at your plants they are way head of mine ... So its fair to say that you infact are just not giving enough, Those ladies are hungry.. like a fat kid wants the cake :) i would definatley suggest upping your dosage on the next feed and see how things go from there. try bumping up a fair bit , i was suggested to use 5ml grow / 10ml bloom for my last feed ( Thats to my 5LTR water ) and they are on day 35 . I am sure he will see this so if anything else could be said from himself he will :) hope this helps :)

Hmmm....6.8 is a little high and could be causing some of your issues, you should try getting it to 6.3ish for soil.
My guess is Nuteburn and likely a bit of lockout :)
Can we get a picture of the whole plant and in natural light please.

Some do say that stunted, but i personally believe that soil grown cannabis is best grown with a ph level between 6.5 to 7.0 , i wouldn't of thought it would be lockout/burn of the lack of nutrients used, 2ml per litre at around week 7 ... ... hey ... but that's just me :)

I did read 6.3-6.4 then I read 6.8... Sometimes you just don't know what to go with!

Hopefully Agito will see this post and give his thoughts on BioBizz amounts.

I think I missed out that I am using 3ml/ltr of BioBizz Bloom with the 2ml/ltr of grow. I have a tub of guano, how would sprinkling a couple teaspoons on the top soil go?

I will take pictures tomorrow but in the mean time, here's some I took yesterday.

I have never brought or used guano , but if it will absorb into the soil as you water, then sure , but its very strong stuff so ask advice from someone who is in the know , as im unsure of what amount to suggest. i just stick with what i know hehe .

Very nice looking plant by the way :)

I'll wait to see what a few others say about what the possible issues are with the plant then seek help on the guano...

I'll post new pictures tomorrow in natural light.

Cheers!

I've been reading all I can about deficiency problems lately due to some yellowing I'm having and from your description and pics it kinda looks like a phosphorus deficiency.
