hello everyone it me the one and only db003.

its been a while since my last grow journals. I had some really bad problems in my last few grows from bugs to bud rots, bad genetics and being stupid and forgetting to water plants. it was just all around a bad time. got little to no harvest and what was harvested was crap so I had to buy weed for a while and that sucked.

anyway I cleaned out my big tent and took my small 2x4 tent down because I need the room and it was getting crowded in my bedroom. so for my future grows I will just be growing in my 3x5 grow tent and stick to growing in that one tent.

I took some old auto seeds that I still had from years ago and put them in some root riot plugs and put them in a clone tray lets hope they sprout. they are old seeds so no guarantee they will sprout. I will being aiming for a 4 plant auto grow just to easy back in and get my bearings again.

so my seeds did not sprout but that wont stop me time for plan B! this will now be a photo plant grow. I really wanted this to be a auto flower grow might try again when the weather is a bit warmer some time after this grow.

I went to a local dispensary and got a few clones I bought a two clone pack for 22 dollars like 26 with tax but I had a discount and came home and planted them.

the strain is Londonchello. I never heard of this strain myself but there are so many strains these days. I have grown clones from this clone maker and they were great last time.

I took two 3 gallon fabric pots and fill them with some dirt and mixed in some dr earth vegetable fertilizer I used a half cup per pot and I also added some down to earth rose and flower fertilizer at a half cup per pot and used some plain potting soil near the top of the pot where the clones were planted to give them a buffer area.

I ordered some trellis netting and some zip ties for later on in this grow.

Most likely a cookies plant. https://www.leafly.com/strains/londonchello
Doing any preventative pest control?

thanks for stopping by and as for your question as of now I am taking no preventives measures. its still a little chilly in California so might not have to worry about bugs just yet.

plus I moved back to fabric pots since I had good luck using them over the years and the one time I switch to plastic pots for a grow I had the worst grow of my life.

I like fabric over plastic too. Just saying lots of critters can come with clones that you won't see until later on when it's a problem. Prevention is much easier. Doesn't take much to get a spider mite egg or fungus gnat larvae in the medium with the plants, and you might not see the problem for weeks

yeah I know what you mean I had got mites from a clone some years ago. so first thing I did was look for mites and signs of bugs just to be safe when I bought them they seam to be fine just have to wait and see.
