I'm on day 21 of my first grow and was wondering if it would be worth it or good idea to get some silica or molasses to use? What I read on silica it sounds pretty good. I already have some molasses but not any silica.

So far I've just been giving water with calmag and then liquid kelp/seaweed. I plan to start using Maxibloom when they start to flower. I'm using Roots Organic with good bit perlite added.

I use Silica Blast weekly to help build strong branches ... I give my plant Molasses a couple times per grow to feed the micro organisms in the soil ...

So you'd say it's not to late in the grow to start using silica? Also I wasn't sure if it was ok to use molasses along with calmag. I try to get my hands on some silica and start using them both :) thanks

I use silica once a week from around the 10th day of grow, all the way up till about 2nd-3rd week of flower.
Seems to be hard to remove from buds during final flush if you use right until end of flower. Makes buds burn quite black, this is just my experience with it, that was with rhino skin.

Only use cal mag if they need it so many folks use cal.mag for no reason at all

I've been using organic blackstrap molasses and it seems to give a little boost to my flowering buds. I have used it with cal/mag too.

. I have been using molasses for two weeks. Once a week. I also like using coconut water. It does good also.

Silica, yes. Molasses, meh. Molasses is a large chemical compound to break down. There are much better ways to add sugars or weight to your buds.
