Indoor Darkness

We took a couple days off, and the wife insisted I turn the lights off.
It's just a 125 watt cfl grow....

Anyway, it's days from harvest, and when I got back the plants were frostier.

So I am looking at Attitude Seeds and there's a description of one seed that says
it's best to leave it in the dark for 5 days before harvest to get more resin.

Can anyone explain this to me? Was it dumb luck, or have I stumbled on a secret
of the Ancients?

Iv'e heard this on the forum but i don;t know if it has been proven to work so maybe someone else will join in with some info.

the trics evaporate under the lights so in the dark there will be a bit more but i would say alot of what you noticed would have been from the days of growth too. whenever it comes up it seems like it isnt as important as its made out to be.

i harvest as the lights come on then you have given the trics a chance to build up a little and havent lost any usefull light.
5 days seems like too long to me either way.
