New Grower Danielsaaan’s Second Grow

I’ve never heard that before. I may put them in my soil earlier! Do you go right to final pot, or paper towel?
I only soak for 3-5 hr max then straight to final home whether it be my coco or soil. No paper towel for me

Does it work for LEDs too?
To those using Photone or something similar that need a diffuser over the cam — will any piece of white paper work? I have printer paper, just making sure that will suffice and give me accurate readings…
Thank you!
Yup that’s what I use :d5:

I had to pay to use the full spectrum led setting. Used it once and that was it. Just feel like I should learn how to read the plant. It will tell you everything you need to know. And i herd conflicting reports on how well it works.
:yeahthat: I also paid for the full spectrum light setting unlocked. But at the end of the day watching the plant :toke:

Welcome to the club and looking great caught up and tuned in :pop::pass:

Day 19: Watered lightly around the edges. Having some issues, but getting some more experience! Just tryna keep ‘em alive.

Hey man! So that one in the back left looks really thirsty to me. Same with the others just not nearly as much. With the 3 gallons you have a little bit more leeway with your amount of water since it'll dry out quicker than the 5 gal.

If it were me I'd water the whole surface a bit, get it all slightly damp. And then do a decent watering in a ring around the plant in a circle till you feel the slightest amount of water on the bottom of the pot, go slow and check often as it's easy to over water like this. The ring should be a few inch radius around the stem, just wanna make sure it can still breath. The water will spread out and saturate a few inches down from the ring. This should last you about 2-4 days and then lessen as the plant grows and drinks more. Should help with making sure you don't drown them as well.

I found that when starting beans in the final container(how I do it) it is easy to get dry spots when being cautious of over watering. I start watering about halfway from the stalk to the edge of the pot and a half-hour later an ounce or two much closer to the plant. Make sure to include a surfactant like yucca powder to help prevent those dry spots. There is an art to watering for sure, lol
