New Grower Danielsaaan’s Fourth Grow - Nightowl Blue Microverse

Maybe causing problems, I don't really know. But I do know that water at lower temperatures can hold more oxygen. Can't find the article/thread but I remember somewhere seeing that around 68° was a good temp. I'll have to try and find it. Plants are looking way better though!
Yeah I agree I honestly don’t know the exact temp I use pumps to mix my water and they normally warm the water up.. I thought I read here where guys were running warmer water then that which made me feel fine with my temps  Too stoned:dizzy:

Yeah, it's not something I've really worried about/monitored. although I have let some jugs warm up if they were sitting in a cold car. Just something interesting I remember reading about.

Day 33: Pretty excited about how these are coming along. This is the stage I sometimes run into issues. Hoping for the best!

Noticed some leaf tips towards the top of the plants beginning to yellow slightly. Raised the light back to the top of the tent and dialed it back to 35-38 DLI from 40-45. Will keep it this way until they’re well into flower.

I went back and checked all of my previous grows. Definitely think I was burning them with my light. First signs always started with lightening of the upper leaf tips. Here is a pic of one of my current plants. Current DLI at center of my canopy is 35.8 and the light is as high as I can get it. Hoping this fixes any issues for now. Maybe later into flower I could increase the output. Currently a touch under 75%. Do you guys think this is sufficient light for day 35 into the grow? Appreciate all of the help!

Hey man, looking good so far! They've made a nice recovery.

An easy way to tell if they are getting to much light in addition to the tacoing and light burning is they will get droopy a few hours before lights off. Usually means they are getting to much light unless you have other issues. When I got my 650r I had it turned way up and burned my plants a lot, to my surprise the plants seem to love it at like 50-65% max with my UVA bar.

I've kinda stayed away from light reading instruments and numbers after that and have learned to just read the plants since each one is bound to be a bit different. I usually end up with one or two plants that get droopy and a few that just want more so I just keep it at a happy medium and move the plants around to lighter or darker spots for adjusting. Has worked out well for me since.

From what I remember 35 DLI should be good. Just remember if you have UVA/B it won't read on most light reading apps or meters. It should peak in light needs a couple weeks into flower and then it will back off and need less towards the final weeks.

Hope that helps!
