New Grower Danielsaaan’s Fourth Grow - Nightowl Blue Microverse

Looking a little happier tonight! I think…
Does it ever make sense to not water for two weeks straight though? 26 days old. Or am I having airflow or drainage issues? Thanks all!

Day 32: Watered with Quillaja and Blackstrap Molasses (2 tbsp per gallon), PH 6.3-6.7. Kind of embarrassed to admit this — but took til now to realize the water I’ve been using has been way too cold - around 63F on average. Could be causing some of the problems I’ve had in past grows. Always let my water sit out in the basement 24h+ before use and didn’t think much of it. Feel like an idiot lol. Made sure I was between 70-75F today, and will continue to do so going forward…

Maybe causing problems, I don't really know. But I do know that water at lower temperatures can hold more oxygen. Can't find the article/thread but I remember somewhere seeing that around 68° was a good temp. I'll have to try and find it. Plants are looking way better though!

Interesting! I just have a chlorine filter attached to my hose and I’ve never given the temperature any thought. Never heard it mentioned for that matter. Plants looking great Dan

Thank you! I read that 68-73F is ideal, so that’s what I’ll shoot for from now on. Also read that 59F and lower will make it harder for the plants to absorb nutrients. Not sure how accurate this is. Something to be mindful of though! Will have to look more into it.
