Whole tent Day 20
well I gave the girls a foliar feeding for the first time for them and myself I have never down any foliar feeding hopefully the girls will bush right out ... I could not decide what to put in humic or full up in so I did both :eek1::stir: I ended up putting 1/16 tsp RAW kelp, 1/8tsp RAW acid, 1/8 tsp RAW full up, and just little RAW yucca 1/32 tsp per 1 gallon RO water ph 6.2.... I dimmed the light way down shortly after light on and sprayed them I will wait little while for leaves to dry off and I'll crank the light back up :headbang: Also will freshen their rez up and bring it up to 500ppm:headbang:

That UV light will be a welcome addition mate! In a Bruce and Shane video they recommend using the UV in bursts as the plant can build up a tolerance to the UV. I’m sure u have watched it lol
I actually think I am putting that in the 4x4 since there no uv light in that tent this tent with marshydro FC-3000 has some UV built in the light... Not sure if it made a difference BUT it definitely did not hurt the girls.....

AND I don't think I have seen that video please share it over there in the my 4x4 thread or live stoners somewhere and tag me:d5: I'd love to check it out if I haven't

Mutant Genetics Granite Haze Day 22 Topped
Everything looking good with her BUT She got topped today between nodes 4 and 5 :tang::muahaha: I'll let her go for a couple days before I do anything more... Freshened rez up today and brought up to 550ppm ph is on point a at 5.85:cooldance::yay:She didn't seem to mind the foliar feed at all not sure if it helped but it did not hurt :woohoo1:

Night Owl Mango Mrr Day 22 Topped
Well even though she wasn't looking the greatest which I am beginning to wonder if it is too much nitrogen with her mango smile linage I know that strain is sensitive to N... But either way she looking good actually stacking up tight and bushy so I topped her as well:muahaha: it was a tight shot but I got a clean cut between nodes 4-5 :shooty:

Looking nice in there. If you decide to foliar feed again, I had picked MoGs brain about it a ways back. He suggested trying to do it 2 hours or so before lights out. I used to manage to remember at about 1 hour before lights out. It's easier than trying to turn down/up the light. Once the lights are off the stomata open and you may have more absorption. Plus, lights off means no chance of light burn.

Might be worth a whirl.

Well that was my original plan but then when i got the stuff the other day he suggested this.....

I’m glad you found that funny :rofl:but that just means that much more has to get done tonight:doh::pass:

Anywho my shamazon order came today I think this will complete my feed for the hydro girls:toke::headbang:

Bingo!

Ok so the Humic Acid:Kelp ratio is 5:2. It really does not matter much the brand. Add a surfactant. It is best to apply foliar 2 hours after the plants wake up. Just dim your lights for a while until the leaves are dry.

If you apply this starting at day 14 then a follow up on day 21, some strains will bush out almost as much as being topped others not so much. @Dabber used this the entire grow or some other secret sauce. I use Kelp and Humic Acid weekly with the res change.
