Nutrients Dabbers Prescription Blend run

@Dabber like they said, depending on your starting water and desired pH will determine if you need to make adjustments. When we were testing the pH balance we asked friends around the country to send us some of their tap/well water and found that with most water types the pH ends up between 5.8-6.3. Using RO the pH will be closer to 5.8 and as the hardness of your water increases the final pH will be higher. If you have very hard water then you can get a final pH higher like @Dichoti has. Once you start mixing you sill see where your feed ends up and it should be consistent from batch to batch in the res.
I wish i would have got in on this, I just missed out. I use AN mostly so mixing multipart is habit. Hearing it settles around 5.8 in R/O is my white whale lol. With others I have to ph up to get there, and go over then try getting it back down. Would I need to add calmag separately, or is it in the formula? I have always used calmag so be nice to not need it for change.

@Mcdee We just posted an offer for AFN folks to help keep the gardens green (or purple) while everyone is being asked to stay home. You can take a look or just send me a PM and I'll get you a coupon code.

I checked out earlier and saw your site said you can add if needed. I have always heard if you use R/O water you need to use calmag. I have no issue adding it, just rather not cause a deficiency to find out lol.

We tried to find a Ca level that supported the widest range of conditions but since there are some big variations in how some strains feed it is impossible to cover everything. Since RO has all the natural cal/mg carbonates taken out, this is the situation that you would be most likely to see a deficiency if your growing a heavy feeder. In this case you could add extra cal/mg but at a lower dose then when cal/mg is a normal part of a feed program (1/2 strength). It depends on both how your plant feeds and also the starting water.

Appreciate the feedback, I’ll try to clarify that on our site. Not many people have told me they needed to use any but some have said they add it at half strength every other feed just as a precaution and it was something they were used to doing with other nutrient lines.

As far as strains go, I have had 2 people growing LSD25 autos that did seem to want more so that might be a trend with the 25’s

Ok, that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the breakdown. I read that lsd25 is a hungry strain when I did mine. Dont remember it being so, but I've been told that cannabis can effect the memory lol. Stay lifted.
