Making sure you get enough free space in that soil medium is the hard part. on the last harvests, I dug back up the roots and seeing only like 1/3rd the pot used for the mass. On this new run i didn't pack things so tight, so hopefully they get some deeper and bigger roots.
More perlite helps. I use a ton lol. And some coco coir too. Good stuff

wooo, great to know I was already on the right track to get that soil doing a bit better! Better go give the hydro store my money! :headbang: :pass:
1/3 of each is a really nice fluffy mix. Might require a bit more feeding since less soil. But them roots will thrive

Also. I like a couple inch layer of perlite on the bottom just to promote better drainage.

I went and looked at an out of business hydro power station that's for lease/sale. The place is great for a grow op! And the generators still work and I know how to maintain them! sigh.......... if only that state were legal............
man that sounds perfect... shame

bigger pot=bigger plants! Like this one in a 20 gallon pot: ( and sorry, I know I use this pic a lot, but it makes a point )

I always keep a bag or two around  I start off with a specific recipe and by the end I'm eyeballing it..When I run my hands through a mix and get a good look at it, I go Emeril on that shit..Bam Bam Bam

River Rock is free and works great for the bottom of pots. No fancy volcanic stone needed for that aspect, but non the less both do the same job.

Here's my Autoseeds Ultra Lemon Haze on day 49!

I have to tie her down, I left her alone for a few days but she looks a little higher in the back and I want a nice even canopy...I'll be thinning out some foliage today too for those sites lower on the branches...Trichs are starting to form and she is stankin so everything is good..:cools:

Looking great, man! I only defoliated very lightly just now.

So I've got all this trim sitting around and under normal conditions it would end up in the trash but because there a couple of plants that didn't like all that wet weather but have lots of popcorn buds I've decided to process it . Any suggestions ?? Oh I'm not one to spend a lot of time on this kind of project the easier the better . I was going to submerge it in alcohol and see if I could turn it into vape juice but it's green and didn't know if this will work ??
Why not just make some butter or oil? You could dip your mushrooms in it!
