I've been checking the root masses on the 5gals I grew outdoors this year. I find they dove down the middle of the pot, and then did a u-turn when they hit the bottom and came back up on the sides.

I've been testing watering based on this. Have you ever checked this before?
Testing watering? As in testing run off? Sorry if I misunderstood.

So the Samsara Ultraviolet was dry enough to smoke and it tastes pretty good, even without a cure!!! Only problem; shit is LOADED with seeds!!!!!!! Not all that happy about that, but fuck it.. I can grow out all 100 or so of the seeds I've found thus far in small guerilla style grows next year and maybe amass enough bud to be worthwhile.. I wanted to try it inside, but I think it may have mildly pollinated the NLxBB, as I found 2 seeds in the first couple joints I've smoked of it..

Anyway, a buddy of mine has been getting these cartridges.. They're pretty tasty and they advertise the "solvent-free" extraction method, then combined with plant terpenes.. Alleged cleaner than doing VG/PEG/PG/etc... They can get you pretty bent, so it's definitely fun!!!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend thus far!!!!

What I mean is that I've been doing a test.

When I give a full watering, it'll get a gallon+. It takes about 5 days to pick that up, but by day 3, the top half of the soil is pretty dry.

So, I've been lightly watering in the middle on day 3 ish.

I've found so far that these light waterings are used by the plant - and that it doesn't really change when it needs a full one. Plant still keeps drinking well.

I was just pondering whether - in your experience - in 5gals are the roots more efficient in some parts of the pot than others.

Brugmansia's taking off, started from seed, fed them some of my GrowBig and BigBloom [GB-1/2 tsp/gal, BB-4 tblsp/gal] when I transplanted them when much smaller. Can't wait to have these seductive monsters smellin up the back deck.
