maybe I'll skip the onions for now and just wait to put them out side with the rest of the veggies, I'm really just looking to grow something for fun until the weather warms up and I can get a proper garden going in the greenhouse.

awesome! Hopefully I have enough mesh for them!! there's about 2.8m strip lining the inside.
I think @FullDuplex did peppers.......they looked really good.

Nothing in particular . I'm just trying a method that was suggested to me by a nice young Polish woman that has been doing this for 9 years . Very simple . Decarb your weed ,pour in the alcohol , let it sit ( outside ) for a couple of weeks, strain the piss out of it , voila pure oil . Mine I will be vaping .

I'm interested in these pineapples now, might have to see old mate google and learn about them, something about growing a plant for some many years is grabbing my attention I like the idea of it! Glad I brought up garden talk if everyone is enjoying it, haha let's keep it going I gotta learn me some stuff tonight, get a little veggie patch/corner going in the tent, get some practice for the greenhouse later in the year.. can't wait!!!:vibe:

I tried the pineapple bit with a spare bucket I had sitting outside last summer. Didn't get it right, though, as the thing never rooted. Figured if I got it going I'd bring it indoors and set it up with a corner and a nice pot inside. Might have to give it another go some day. And I've heard two years is an optimistic prediction to get a fruit. Some articles I've read have said up to 7 years. :yoinks:

This stuff only takes a couple months, though....

I know!!! I read a lot about folks using ethylene-acceleration for their fruits, but they aren't all that big, so I could see if you did a "guerilla grow" of pineapple with just a bunch of them knowing a lot won't make it and then enjoy a bunch of softball-sized pineapple.. Maybe good as a party favor?? Throw some vodka or rum on the top half and let it soak in?!? DID I JUST INVENT SOMETHING!?!?! Probably not, Hawaiians and Pacificans are pretty savvy w/ their fruit..

So, from the literature, pineapple plants can get up to 6ft across or roughly 2m for you metric folk.. I schemed about it, but I don't think you can LST a pineapple lol

As long as the pineapple is at least 2 years of age, you can force flowering...A little ethylene will trigger the hormones in the plant to induce flowering..I think it takes about 6 months to finish once flowering...Cut an apple in half, place it in the center of the plant and cover the plant with a bag..Place the plant in a cool dark area for a few days while the apple breaks down.Large farms like Dole crop spray an ethylene mixture to do this.

@Mossy I'm multitasking Mossy got my own garden . Corn & zucchini .

I grew corn last year..dead excited and got this really Weird virus in...:yoinks:..it was Nasty..so I haven't done any this year...Yet....

Your plants look great!!!!! I've never grown corn and have heard that it can be a pain in the ass because it needs a lot of consistent heat or warmer temps.. I also don't think I'd be able to container grow it as successfully as it would be if sewn in the ground..

All of my vine veggies (squash, zuccs, cucs, cantelopes) seem to FINALLY be propagating their respective pots as I think all of the rain really did a number on the soil flora/fauna.. I watered them all 2 days ago for the first time since I started them, and there's already new growth!!! I love gardening!!!! I'm gonna be dropping some DE and doing a preventative spray for mites/gnats this morning before I mow the lawn..

Saturday is spraying day for me...garlic tea...it doesn't Stop caterpillars..but when it Hits them they Hurls themselves off the plants..just don't stand down wind...:coffee:

Yes I did as a matter of fact and I loved it . I only grew the one in a small pot but the bud it produced was excellent . Because it was such a small plant I turned it into rosin .. Now then if you look real close at the bottom of this Fastbuds pack tell me what you see ?? Tell me my eyes are deceiving me . Free tangie seeds for the bear he has a collectors item :eyebrows: View attachment 765357

Fast Tangie..:coffee:

So the one thing I've noticed about growing veggies/herbs inside is that if you're at 18/6, it accelerates the growth of a lot of stuff.. A lot of things I grew indoors started flowering a couple weeks ahead of schedule, but regardless, there's nothing wrong with a fast harvest of some veggies!!!!

I experimented with growing tomatoes, peppers, and lettuce this winter. They all did very well. You should have no trouble with snow peas. I am going to do it again this year. Looking forward to year around salad!!

The Next Big thing...:d5:..get all the healthy eaters doing their 12 month veg growing....IKEA make the Units already.
