Look here @epenguin... this is young "thugs" who probably have friends who done shit. who put words together and sings so it will sound cool, just an image for the listener... but they are very talented and i think i will see them when they are older doing alot of cash. It looks like they come from a less fortune area but they choose to do their thing instead of gangbanging.

I dont like Rap where i don't know what they are saying. Rap is about a story and the person telling it. Whether the music is from the heart is what makes any genre's music good or bad. I have to hear the words and know what they mean before i can appreciate it. I can appreciate the foreign rap songs as cool grooves or melodies though.

Tis is going to come across as offensive to some members, but it is the last thing on my mind, but I just watched that rap video by Gucci Mane, now I have to confess, I never liked Rap, and I can't help thinking these guys never did an honest days work in their lives. I could be wrong, but I just see guys with no talent or voice, offensive lyrics, made lots of money from drug dealing and fuck anybody else.
I know I'm gonna offend every Gangsta rap aficionado out there, but I stand to be corrected or educated. I'm sorry but I just don't get it. Could be old age and out of touch, but could someone help a thick penguin and explain what it is that is so attractive.
