"The main idea is you give your plants the following light schedules:

Vegetative: 12 hours light, 5.5 hours dark, 1 hour light, 5.5 hours dark / day

Flowering: Start with 11 hours light, 13 hours darkness. You keep this for 2 weeks, then drop the lighting period by 30 minutes, I.E. after two weeks you will switch to 10.5 hours on, and 13.5 hours off. Continue this 30 minute drop every 2 weeks until you reach 9 hours on/ 15 hours off. Finish your flowering at this lighting."

Clearly they were talking about Photos here, but why cant we adapt a similar concept to Autos
Though I am thinking why not do like 9on-3off-9on-3off to give us our 18/6 a day.
Could this have a positive / negative effects? like time has been fast forwareded, how will an auto react to this...

I dunno about the flowering part, but I do wonder about part of the concept with the vegetative schedule. I know a lot of people run lights 24/7, but I'm one that's always believed the plant does something with the darkness. This is re-enforced by the fact that I get a STRONG hit of scent off my closet every day when the lights go out. More when they're in flower than veg. It's like pissing a skunk off by turning off the light so it zaps you with the scent glands. So it would be interesting to see what more than one dark period would do. Heck maybe even split things up further than they suggest and instead of doing the usual 18 on, 6 off do 9/3/9/3 or similar. Change nature to a twelve hour day and see if the plant freaks out. :smoking:

Always thought it was bangers... You know something served with some nice mashed potato, maybe a spot of nice onion gravy.
Hell yeah! Bangers and mash, onion gravy.. wasn't even hungry but I am now!

Yeah man, no exaggerations when our government department runs certain things...
the postal service is one of them. big time
I have indeed, ordered, a few Fem seeds and some regular seeds. busy trying to source CS / STS or the parts to make some stuff up to get it going.
The slow delivery kinda happened at the right time, gave me a good learning experience with regards to this deficiency.
Sounds like that government needs to take a big massive hella bong hit, "hold it.. hoolllllldd it" and lay off the postal services, what did they ever do, Read it years ago but can't you make CS by running a certain voltage through some sort of metal submerged in water.. or something like that?

a ringer is...
an athlete or horse fraudulently substituted for another in a competition or event.
and the irish part was in reference to the braveheart post prior...

guess I'm getting rusty
Ahhh no not rusty, just different jargon, makes sense now I've watched a movie called 'the ringer' staring johnny Knoxville, hahaha

I by no means have any idea what I'm talking about here, I have a handful of grows under my belt, but I would assume autos would just hermi? Atleast weaker non hearty strains, maybe some hard to kill super noob friendly auto would not turn.. like I said I dunno therefore I'm willing to try it later on in the year if no ones already tried

just the dup I was lookin for....
colloidal silver.. use it?
getting ready to, going to make some S1's this round to see what weve got. This is an F2 off a mother that had similiar qualities. Actually she looks identical right now.
