I made banana cream pie one time with banana's that were not only black....but flat (kind of deflated)....When I opened the peel, the banana basically oozed out! I had to add a ton of yellow food coloring in to cover the brown of the super over ripe banana. Long story short...I didn't even get a piece. I got a little bite (best banana pie I've ever had)...I made it for a ladies day my wife was hosting. It was almost embarrassing watching those women eat with such fury!Oh yes, very sweet I think. The one yesterday was well ripe and was so sweet!
