What I wouldn't give for a fresh bear steak from a place that pure...
Man, the first 12yrs we lived up here was way back up in the Brooks Range. the bears were the best food. No fish way up there to eat, all fall getting fat on blueberries! when I dressed em out everything was deep purple, meat, blood, feces.

Last time I had fresh it was in the Rockies... damn steaks were so sweet you would swear they were marinated in sugar.

Mulberries and boysenberry do the same... I've dressed out my fair share of purps
