Thought I’d share a coupla macros

I’ve always found flowers quite astounding, but cannabis has to take the ticket, nothing quite like it! This purple haze reminds me of those alien worlds from 1970’s Star Trek!

i removed what someone said are the "water leaves"

I guess what is left is some of the "sugar leaves"?

I think water leaves may refer to the larger fans at nodes, and sugar leaves refers to the smaller frostier leaves that the buds form around and swallow up.

question to anyone

I chopped a plant and just did a quick wet trim.

once the dry is complete, can i sure with some of the smaller leaves still in the buds?

I am not really concerned with perfectly manicured buds, obviously i am not smoking big leaves.

Feel free to do both. I prefer well trimmed buds, but it doesn't matter. The taste may be a little grassy with more leaf material,

Damnit! Found a tiny bit of powdery powdery mildew in one of my jars!


I don't think it's a write off as there was only one Bud affected but going to spray the jar load with %3 hydrogen peroxide solution until run off and re dry them, test smoke and the decide if the bin is the best place for them.



Never had this happen before!

Bad luck bro, hopefully it can be fixed. Does uv kill fungus as it does bacteria? Could give them a uv bathe

Apparently it does, I had them in the sun yesterday afternoon and been tapping the buds looking for any clouds of spores, so far so good.

Off to get some peroxide now and bath them, any hint of it on a test Bud and about 120g of Citrus Noir is going in the bin..

Hello everyone, I've got a quick question if you don't mind. I'm day 39 of my second auto grow 18/6 lighting 400W Cree COBS. This plant looks 10x better at this stage than my first grow, much bushier with a more even canopy and large main stalk. However, I am not getting much stretch. The sides shot up quite a bit but the overall height of the plant is only 12" or so. It just got it's first feeding with bloom nutes today, however she has barely started flowering. Just a couple initial pistols here and there.

I see everyone's plants on this site and they're 2'+. Are you controlling that stretch with well timed lighting changes? Moving them up/dimming down for a week? If so what PPFD readings do you follow? I have been somewhat following what @A-Train said in another thread so I ran 250-300 PPFD at canopy during seedling stage/early veg. Got to 400 PPFD when stretch started and now it's around 500 PPFD. This is lower than he recommended so I don't think I'm overdoing it, but who knows. Maybe it's still to come in the next week or so.

Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks in advance
