Fulvics? Humics? Your getting a bit technical now........sounds like something pregnant women take. :shrug: I’ve had an air stone and high power pump sitting there for about two months. Is it worth the effort??
In laymans terms, Humics (fulvic acid is essentially the same, but smaller molecules) make it easier for your plant to get all the nutes etc etc that it needs, and promote photosynthesis on a higher level.
Aerating the water for 24+ hours adds additional oxygen to your medium, and helps dechlorinate the water(If you're using tap water).
My plants are happier since I started adding humics and oxygenating my water, So it's worth the effort to me.
