You could get shorter strains

True enough. Still fairly new to all of this - especially when it comes to the pros/cons of any particular strain. I've only two finished grows, and both over-ran the lights. I have about 3.5 feet of clearance from the top of the tank and the face of the COB. That supercrop on the speed bud was spot on, though. Pretty sure it increased the yield, if only by a small amount.. point being that it did not take away from the harvest. I've heard a lot of arguments that any form of damage like that hurts yields... Perhaps in general that may be true... but when the "damage" allows your plant to grow more weight without foxtailing, i'd say the opposite is true.

What strain seeds do you have for the next grow? Outgrowing the space is a good thing....it says you have a great growing environment, so now just to get some shorts thick flower strains growing and you are set!!

How's it coming along? I am probably going to get a new tent after the summer. The 5 foot height is really a pain to work with. I don't mind training/supercropping, but I'd rather not be compelled to do it because the ladies are banging their heads against the lights.

That would hurt my neck a five foot high tent. But you are growing some great weed with that height,

What strain seeds do you have for the next grow? Outgrowing the space is a good thing....it says you have a great growing environment, so now just to get some shorts thick flower strains growing and you are set!!

I have two tanks in the one tent. Tank two is a GG4, just over a month from germ. Tank one is just now cleaned up and ready to go.. and I have the following choices:

I could do another speed bud or GG4, but other options are (Short Stuff) Jedi Kush, (CBD) Diesel, and (Canuk) Cheese.

If I wait a few weeks, I'll have a much wider selection, including some Mephisto strains, but I don't want to wait for them to start the next grow.

Thanks! I still think I am better off with the taller tent. At least I can decide on training/cropping based on whats best for the yield, not to keep it from roasting
