Good Morning @Mossy Still recovering ?? Good Morning Stoners TGIF
I see we have a chef @chefdave I hope he dispeles this concept about cooking meat rare . And I mean all meat . If you ever been inside an abattoir you'll never eat meat again . Do you know why they hang beef ?? It's so it can decompose for 14 days ( in Canada ) and it will be nice and tender . Now we take this decomposed piece of flesh , drop it on the BBQ for 10 seconds a side so its nice and " blue " so that the blood is still running out of it and this is what we call enjoyment !! If it ain't well done I ain't eating it . Why would anybody in their right mind even think about cooking lamb rare you might as well eat it on the hoof why kill it ?? just jump a fence and eat it in the field .. Rant over .

Yeah, a nice controlled rot is the best ever. Like cheese, you know? It needs to live to be good! Ample and not too subtle putrefaction is the key to good eating. ;)

I spent years deer hunting . One of the pleasures ?? for some was shooting a deer and dropping the liver in a frying pan after we had gutted it . All these macho guys showing how tough or brave or stupid eating raw meat . :nono:
