quite an interesting word...............i heard once that it was something to do with Khat....the stuff from the Yemen............people sit around and Khat.....which got bastardized to Chat


I dont know if that is true but its quite nice stuff if you chomp through enough of it. It comes in damp newspaper wrapped in a banana leaf and tied up with that stringy stuff off a banana

I think its illegal here now but it didnt used to be,


Its reddy green leaves on a stalk and it has to be consumed really quickly.......not like in a food race but soon after it is picked......within hours is best.

i wouldnt do it every day........too much chewing for me.

Even small kids chew it in Yemen...........it has destroyed their country....along with other things. Farmers grow Khat and no food crops.and everyone sits around spakked out all day........even the politicians.

Its a sad situation.

It used to be 30 quid a bunch in London.........it flew in first thing on the early morning flights from Africa having been picked hours before

All legal

A bunch is pretty big and i never ate a whole bunch. It isnt unpleasant to eat and there isnt much of an effect. Im glad i tried it and i havent spoken to anyone else who has.

I didnt know it was such a big problem in Somalia.....................they are growing drugs instead of food........fucking mental.

Got invited over to some friends for Cinco de. Mayo dinner yesterday and got surprised with a gift.

Hell yeah!!!! I just got a 5pk of the feminized GDP from Kentucky Estes' company and also got a 6pk of them from Blimburn, so may do 2 of each next round.. Been dying to grow some for a while!!!

I'm not sure how to word this. So i am just going to word diarrhea it out.

Back in the day, circa 2007ish, is when I really discovered this beautiful plant we all love. Don't get me wrong I had smoked and all that.

I used to get this bud that the guy called "the purps". This stuff was sooo dense. I've never seen anything like it. Every time I smoked with a friend they were completely mind blown. 1 bowl would have us baked to the gills.

Then I started getting some nice cali dispensary bud. Good stuff, but didn't too "the purps"

Fast forward to 2011, I joined the military, served for 5 years. First week home I try to get a hold of "the guy" no luck. After I got all my paperwork situated I got my medical card.

I have been up and down this state, going to all the dispensaries. I am VERY disappointed with the quality buds I am shelling out big bucks for. When I buy bubba kush I want that feeling like I'm melting into the couch. I've been finding random seeds in my buds.

Does anyone else feel this way about dispensaries?

I work at a dispensary and some of the guys here have cards so I've been lucky enough to have tried our strains and I must admit, only 2 or 3 of them are "fire".. I would put my homegrown up against most of them in a taste-test.. That's here in MA, so I imagine it may be similar in other areas..
