Evening AFN....long day sanding and prepping boat for 6 coats of varnish....thank God for electric sanders!!

Made back before the sun went down..and walked the yard...to exhausted to pull weeds..so took a few pictures with the macro lens. Found out I was to tired to do that also!

I need one of those nifty cameras and lenses you have..Love the DOF shots..These pics were shot with a 5 year old tablet with no flash option..Best I could do at the moment :thumbsup:

You get good at what you have available...! My investment is the glass...my camera body is a mid level model...although, I would eat peanuts out of monkey shit for a Nikon D5 ...ok, I would go that far...but I sure would look at that money shit like it was a klondike bar.

I made a bunch of food for the homeless shelter, and gorged on the extras tonight (that wouldn't fit into the containers). Creamy chicken and dumpling, all home made. Think it worked out to about 3 gallons all told. I can't do it that often, because I lack the kitchen for it, but I make a point to do it at least once a month.

Gives me a great excuse to overeat :cheers:
