I agree, I think the top is a little overkill , simple wooden wheel house, the rest in fiberglass would be better for me. but, back then..it was the thing to do.

I think the more woodwork and brightwork the better. But it's not at all practical.

It's amazing how they react to being tied down!

yeah...it doesnt bloody work

Leaf senescence is best explained by fall leaf colors. When the reproductive stage is nearing completion, and the environmental variables start towards fall the process called senescence starts. The plant begins to scavenge all it's nutrients stores throughout the plant and send it to reproductive and energy storage compounds. All mobile nutrients are reassigned. The leaves usually turn color because the plant is getting ready for dormancy or death. In cannabis, it knows it is about to die, so it pulls those nutrients to reproductive systems.

So flushing triggers this system early. As I understand what people want from flushing, it's a better taste to the smoke. They think because they are not adding nutes their smoke will be closer to pure. I call BS. If you want to effectivly remov nutes from the system the only way to do it is to remove leaves. Flushing will just reduce photosynthesis, reduce water uptake, slow down bud and trichome growth, and you still end up with extra minerals and stress compounds in the buds.

I like that, I may have just changed my mind about flushing for so long.

Good morning AFN family...Busy day ahead. Helping a friend polish up his wooden boat for the next few weekends. I wish I could share pictures of her, She was built in 1936 by Wheeler shipyard in Brooklyn , NY . During WWII , the owner of the boat at that time volunteered to use her as a sentry off the coast of NY, MA etc. Shes a 50 footer, twin diesel. The hull was fiberglassed 1986, but leaving the majority of the upper deck wooden. I have worked on this boat many times, and its always a pleasure. What is nice , is that she has won many wooden boat shows. Proof that fun, hard work can be rewarding. THE FOLLOWING PIC. IS NOT THE BOAT, BUT A REPRESENTATION OF BOAT , PRETTY CLOSE IN STYLE
