If I'd have paid full price for my lights, I'd have paid $260. I'm running a "1000 watt" Blurple and a "1800 watt" cob. Amazon is your friend if you're on a budget. Just read reviews from verified buyers before you buy...

I love when I read them advertise those lights with those watts.. I laugh every time

Been burned on lights before. I like Cfls, Mars is pretty good for cheap less but that's the cheapest I'll go and I am excited about cobs. Just learning about those. Amazon and eBay scare me on lights lol. Before I buy a new light I'll be on here asking if it's any good lol. Pops used to be my go to guy on lights cause he always ran cheap lights lol. Dunno if he still does.

I think @Rebel has run those Roleadro COB's from Amazon before (sorry if I have the wrong person in mind, Reb,) but might be a good source of a first-hand experience

I'm running an $84 light off Amazon, seems to be doing the job!

Just checked facebook here too. It's loaded up with used lights. I would have spent 30-50 bucks on bulbs and wire. Got sockets. Or I can get a hid or something for about the same price and maybe buy a bulb.

My second Viparspectra 600 will be here today. Just in time for the second plant that just peeked it wee head above ground last night. Also gives me a good excuse to re-arrange some things in the tent.

Isn't that supposed to be the light wattage they supposedly "replicate" or "replace" in normal lights?
I've noticed that with the addition of the X6 whatever cob I added a few weeks ago, my plants have begun growing faster and bigger.
The only thing that gets me about them is the heat... Running them 20/4 leaves the inside of the tent at 83-87f, and the room the tent is in is goes around 80-85.
If my wife wasn't a living incarnation of HEAT MISER, ambient temps would only be 65-70f haha.

I run mine 18/6 and the last three weeks of flower.. about week 6 or 7 I cut that down to 16/8.

As for the lights lumens and par are watt matters but they still trick the old hid users with the old watts deal
