This just crossed my mind so I thought I 'd lay it out there for your consideration . After a grow do you flush the medium to remove the possibility of salts that may have collected during the grow stage . If so does the flushing remove all the microbes and fungi etc that are beneficial . This is considering you plan on reusing it whether it be peat or coco . :biggrin:

I've only had 1 'between grows' so far, but I did. I heavily flushed my hyhdroton, then soaked it twice for days in PHd water with hydroguard in it. I figured better safe than sorry. PH down and hydroguard are cheaper than mid grow problems.
