no. but in a lab it might be. Not all plants have those though. It would be closer to the truth to say:

in a healthy normal plant, the root and shoot biomass weigh similar amounts and take up similar space.

@CAPSLOCKSTUCK I am sorry man, I wish I had known you last year. If you like using old computer parts you would have hit the motherload over here last year. I asked everyone, advertised, and tried to find a home for my stuff. But I ended up giving 8-10 computers to a Makers co-op for electronics classes. I had a dozen old towers, 6 or so laptops, and a mountain of parts and cables. Most of the towers were my old gaming computers that I put lots of money into. I would have given you the whole lot.

I wanted to rebuild them for school kids who dont have computers but I couldnt find backing or money to do it.

I use the ASUS ROG ii extreme with a Xeon X 5670 at 4.4ghz and the DFI has a Xeon W 3520 @ 3.9

I thought of doing something like that, but around here, you'd need a ton of cash for it, because the computers are so old, they barely run Lubuntu without lagging or freezing up.
