Good Morning @Mossy , AFN .
I'm going to Preop this a.m. I get to meet some of the team that will be doing the TURP end of March . I guess they want to make sure I don't croak on them while I'm on the table . This is new protocol for me . When I had my hernia fixed and my heart ablation done I ended up going home same day . This time I have Preop , Surgery and a 3 day stay . I will be extremely happy when this is all done . Part of the trials and tribulation of aging but I have no complaints this stuff is minor compared to what some people have to endure

Mine will be a spinal anesthesia so I will be fully conscious so I can watch the whole procedure ( I'm not squeamish ) BUT I had to confess that I use recreational drugs .

Mine will be a spinal anesthesia so I will be fully conscious so I can watch the whole procedure ( I'm not squeamish ) BUT I had to confess that I use recreational drugs .

You are Lucky it is in the bottom half of your body........my nerve damage is an upper quadrant...the spinal anesthesia goes in through your throat.....things could always be worse...

I Keep being tempted to put a Battle scars thread up....we can all Scare the Life out of each other.....

I've seen the Penguins hip transplant scars more than once..and I scared some staff white when I showed the how I melted my thumb the other day.....it could be Fun.....

No vasectomy scars Please ..
