I won't deny having that "accidental" chop on my first grow. Though it was from a plant that had some massive colas. This one is pretty lean. I did dry and sample some of the earlier trimmings of those popcorn-bud sites that you know wont amount to anything. This should be a little better... In the dehydrator now.

Here's what I legit accidentally cut...

Enough frost on her!! I often like to let underformed buds rock for a bit, before cutting them off and rolling a couple of joints with them.

I normally give every bud-site a fair chance, too. My thought was that if I take off the known non-producers, the plant will put more energy into the larger bud sites. No idea if that will make a difference. Just experimenting.

I certainly feel that removing heavily shaded underformed bud does indeed increase potential growth energy to producing flowers. Sometimes i wish i ran cloned plants, just so i could do some controlled tests on things like this!!
