Howdy, Archie.. Having a bit of dinner then might head off to bed early. Someone hit a tree near the house (driver was ok, car not so much) that woke me up at about 3am. Couldn't get to sleep after that.

I had to reconcile myself to it. It's not easy and I always shed tears, but I can do it. I had to cull all my quail at one point because they were fighting and pecking each other's eyes out, that was pretty grim.

Yeah that sucks for sure!! Often the natural pecking order isnt a civilized thing!!

*sigh* I always wanted a house with a bit of land, just a quarter acre or so, but it's so expensive in the UK. We could buy one, but then I'd have to work to bring in some money and I'd end up with no time to enjoy it. Where's the "good life" in that?

Pick up and move!! Land in eastern canada(new brunswick) is cheap...could get a farm with 50 acres of land for under $100,000 canadian ($50,000 pounds)
