No fish wheels in Eskimo land. A little further south in Athabaskan territory fish wheels are traditional and still in use.

I just melted the cards.......:biggrin:....ordering stuff they won't post to Spain from Amazon and Ebay....:coffee:

Hubby is going to have a Fit when he sees the receipts coming in.....:yoinks:..the biggest chunk was the soil PH meter..but hey..that was an IOU for me xmas pressy...

then there was horse radish/lemongrasse/tumeric root's and plantable cardomom seeds...:biggrin:..I want to try growing some of the exotic herbs and spices...oh....and a horse radish in a pot....:crying:..gawd knows how I'll get it home in a suitcase...but..I'll try...:biggrin:

I get used to getting stopped in customs for the strange stuff I drag back in me suitcase...:coffee:

Damn...I need a smoke and some chilled out music........

I like the ones where it's like a pier in the middle of the river with metal grate floor or something, they can swim in but not out.

me too. I'm slowly putting together breeding stock for medicinal garden stock. Focusing mainly on things that are perennial here so far. I will be opening a native and medicinal plant nursery in the not too distant future. Within 5 years at most. I've been gathering the parts and infrastructure for 5 years. I'm almost ready to go all in.

fish trap. Up here they make em outta cottonwood, willows and a little chicken wire, for mudsharks, ling cod Dec-March. They have huge livers, vit D, stored sunshine, for winter
