For those that use BigSmo's cobs... What's the difference in par between the one I'm looking at, and the ones he carries?

I did 2 full days of scouring every canna site looking for flaws and success.....all i could find was very minor flaws, and LOTS of successes!!
That is what I wanted to hear. Any reading I have done has been very positive.

BUt i need to see it for myself!! Will be armed with some phosphorus booster just in case I need it!!
I noticed that with my 3 week old GG4, Growth got even faster if I used calmag, and 1/4 strength bloom nutes. But, this is still my first grow, So it could just be the plant's natural growth pattern.

Flaws - A few guys found Cal/Mag(calcium especially) wasn't enough for under cobs. Easy to get around if needed. A couple of guys thought it was lacking in phosphorus for maximum bud production potential. Not enough to cause deficiencies(form what i saw), but enough to limit top production.

Are you just using the base nute Megacrop from Green Leaf? Or also some of their other product?

Yep base nute Megacrop form GreenLeaf. Going to run it straight up with nothing additives unless the plants tell me they need cal or phosphorus. Check out the dragon meds category if you are interested.

It all comes down to efficiency BiGSmO uses a driver that drives at 57 watts and produces the same amount of coverage as a 250 watt HPS for 57 watts. What is the size and how many watts does it take to run that particular light. This is what BiGSmO has taught me about it. The COB SHOP uses porcupine fins there is no fans it is a much easier unit to keep clean over the years too.
