I know if i had to make a choice between my 100X3w mars and my 100X3w populargrow, i would go with the populargrow. They run cooler, and they grow plants great...i was considering retiring the mars in favor of another populargrow just for the heat difference

I have ran mainly popular grow lights since 2014. I had one fan go. There 300 watt light produces frost monsters. I like there cob light even though it is driven at 600 ma it produces huge, The platinum 300 I am trying right now just grew a 206 gram moby dick that was dry weight it is 188 watts.

You can get a license for yourself, but criminal record checks happen if you grow for somebody else.

How many would be a perfect fit for a 1.2X1.2m tent?

I am an imperial guy bro. I remember him saying 10 would do a 4X8 that is 570 watts from the wall that is amazing.

As you know on your advice i grabbed a popular 100X3 and i agree 100%...power frost on every plant grow under them!! For their price they are a great little light!!
