Yeah i bet there would be quite a bit to do to prepare each season!!
I used to compare it to a Broadway play...you better have you shit together when the time comes to perform. I could get pretty stressed out. Took a while to figure that out. Now it's more about endurance:thumbsup:

We did have to buy our land,from the person who homesteaded in the 50's. We partnered up with another couple [she and I had gotten "modest inheritances"] It was pretty cheap back then.
 
The majority are still white, but they're turning orange here and there. The older plant, with the cloudy trichs has less orange than this one does.
Looks like you probably have a way to go still. Few weeks maybe. Others will probably know better.

our first camp up here, way back in the Brooks Range was an old homestead, had to buy. When we moved to the Big Valley I thought for sure I'd never be able to sell such remote property. But fortune shined on me, again, meet a local air carrier pilot, he and his fam were looking for just such a place, never know were Life will lead!
