Good morning stoners.

It's gonna be a great day, cause I'm throwing away all my plant and seed catalogs. Thats it. I'm broke and can't be stopping myself from buying plants every time I visit the library. No more daily tug of war with my wallet. I got plenty of plants ! I just have to start taking cuttings from all those gardens I visit..!

So thinking out loud..

Water saving gel crystals which I've been playing with...

How good do you think that would go for transplant and or shock reduction?

A teaspoon to 500ml of water.

Rather than wait for it to become a gel, water it in.. once set it could in theory.. protect the root mass?

I used way too many in a pot mixture the first time, and after a couple weeks most of it floated up to the top of the pot. All that extra went into my garden. Where to this day, it is still not absorbed into the soil. It's been about a year now.

It would be a good solution for cloning or cuttings though. It would be esay to remove the plants for potting.

True?

If it were just for the solo cup size transplant range? That's what I was thinking, might protect a bit if moving to a larger pot etc.

Had an amazing studio version of this on CD my sissy gave me from a trip to china.. then one day CD blow up in CD player...!

Never found the same version since!

You wanna tag @mohawk warrior and give him details...if anyone knows where it is..he will...:headbang:

I found red strawberry flowers yesterday. I didn't know they were variable! 20 years a gardener, and strawberries surprise me.

Nice to know after 20 years that the garden still holds Surprises.......:headbang:...Mother Nature Magic...:watering:

Yep, or a bread pan for several of them. If your doing cuttings the usual rules apply for how to prepare cuttings. Including hormone powder or gels, and scoring the stems, etc.
