Hi, I created femanized seeds on my last grow and none of the seeds will pop.
what I did was spray only one branch and that branch turned to male pollen sacks only. I then chopped that branch and smacked the plant with it and it worked. I got around 2000 seeds and dried them. It's been 4 weeks and none of them will germinate. I have them in a pill bottle in the fridge now. how much longer do they need to wait till they will germinate?
Thank you

you should talk to bob someone else had that issue and they ended up being ok

try carefully cracking them between your teath , be gentle and slow , you will feel and almost hear the crack

or scrap/scuff the seeds along the seam before soaking or putting them in wet paper towel

its nothing to do with the use of c.s so i think this should be moved to a different area for more views/responses

peace

Haha sounded strange at first but I think you are right. I will give it a try!!! Thank YOU!!!!!

seeds need a drying period just as buds do. maybe they need to dry for a little longer before you move them to storage? put some out in a dry environment for a week or so and give them another go...see what happens. :2cents:

another thought i have is ,,,,,

did you pull them from the plant before fully drying it and them ?

if so you most likely damaged them all as it is very very easy to do so

i let my plant itself dry atleast 2 weeks with RH 25-30% and no higher before even thinking about plucking seeds , and most often i then snip off the buds and continue drying a few more days

peace

I allowed the seeds to dry on the buds and before curing them I carefully removed the seeds "took hours" and let the seeds sit in a bowl for a week. I put the seeds in a pill bottle with a packet of desiccant I let them sit like that for 3 days then put them in the fridge with the desiccant still in the bottle.
I made seeds before and plucked them while they were green "which is stupid" let them dry for a week tossed them in a baggie and in the fridge. They sat there for a year and pulled them out and got 100% germination out of over 50 green/ tan seeds.
My new batch of seeds look great as if from a breeder but I think they just want to chill in the fridge for a few months before I wake them up. I will do that then try germinating again and will post back to this thread.
Thank's guys for all the help ^________^

maybe try Bobs original suggestion of scraping them or cracking them on a few...that will probably help them to sprout. good luck!

try to squish a few , if they crumble they are duds , if they squash they havent hardened yet

Bob is bad for seeds if the RH is higher than 30%?
